Terms and Conditions

1. When a booking is made by e-mail, website or telephone, the booking is subject to confirmation. This means you will first receive an automatic confirmation genareted by our system, followed by a personalized email from our transfer department with all information you need regarding your arrival and departure and in the end you must accept our terms and conditions.

2. Customers are entitled to cancel the reservation by email or telephone until 48 hours prior to arrival or departure.

3. Payment must be made in advance, before departure, including for arrival journeys, using one of the payment methods available on our website. This applies to all type of transportation services and and other services advertised on our website. The option to pay upon arrival is available only to existing customers prior agreement. "Pay to the Driver" is not acceptabel unless a valid explanation is provided. All exceptions are subject to approval. Please note, for payments over 100 EUR (after coversation from GBP) and for services other than transfers, we recommend a bank transfer to our UK Lloyds bank, unless this causes any inconvinience! 4. If you choose effortless online payment or any of other payment method offered by our Travel Agency, please inform us in advance by e-mail at info@algarvetaxilink.com or by text/call to (+351) 963 467 900 or (+44) 7448 513 455. This allows us to confirm receipt of your payment and proceed with your booking request. 

5. You can request an invoice when making your taxi booking, by using the "COMMENTS" section of the booking FORM. The driver can provide it on the day of your departure, or we can email it to you after payment. 

6. An additional charge applies for extra luggage, such as sports equipment (e.g., golf clubs, bicycles) or other bulky items.

7. In compliance with Portuguese law, our company offers an online Complaints Book available in Portuguese and English, If you wish to file a complaint, please contact us at info@algarvetaxilink.com and we'll be happy to assist you. 

8. Smoking is not allowed in our vehicles. We reserve the right (delegating it to our chauffeurs) to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behavior is considered to pose a threat to the chauffeur, the vehicle or the other passenger(s).

9. Some of our vehicles have a maximum capacity of 8 passangers (MINIBUS) while others can accommodate up to 4 passangers (TAXI). 10. Journeys requested between 23:00 and 06:30 will incur a 20% price increase.

11. Toll Tax is included in our prices.

12. 0ur prices are not dynnamic. Prices shown in euros on our website are fixed and transparent. For additional services, flexible pricing may be available depeding on your needs.

13. No Shows will be charged in full once not cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival or departure.

14. Arrivals: The maximum awaiting time of our services, at the Arrivals Terminal, is of one hour, concerning the time of arrival. In the case of a “No Show” our drivers are aloud to leave the area and the total ammount of the service will be charge.

15. Departures: Our Drivers are authorized to leave the awaiting area, after a No Show has occurred, considering the time stated on the reservation made by the customer, unless there is a previous notice justifying the delay which must not exceed the 10 minutes period. After this 10 minutes period, an extra charge will be added, depending on the delay of the service in question.

16. Our vehicles have a maximum capacity of 8 people, whether it is adults, children or babies. According to the Portuguese law, it is not allowed to exceed this maximum capacity, in order to assure the safety of the passengers therefore our drivers are not allowed to drive more than 8 passengers on our vehicles.

17. The use of the baby or booster seats is compulsory and punished by law, if not correctly used, therefore, we reserve our drivers the right not to allow children seating on their parent's lap.

18. There is no extra charge for baby, child or booster seats. These will be available upon request, when making with your reservation through the website Calculator. If you need more than one baby seat, complete your reservation form with number of safety seats you need and the ages of your children.

      Baby seats - for new-born babies until approximately 6 months of age;

      Child seats - for young children from approximately 6 months of age until 2-3 years of age;

      Booster seats - are suitable for young children;

19. The Portuguese law will be monitoring all of the previous contents, therefore we appeal to all customers to show respect, regarding our terms and conditions.
